I particulary enjoyed the section in this reading regarding "expanding client options."  Too often, we as providers fail ito include key players -- like the parents mentioned in the article.  I don't think it's arrogance on our part, but rather an inabiltiy to think creatively.  This isn't to say that providers cannot be creative, but instead, I think providers do not have the luxury of being able to approach issues in a thoughful process.  Voice and choice really need to become a greater part of the provider culture.
