Youth L.E.A.D. is the first "food justice" organization in South Florida. We believe access to healthy food is a right, not a privilege, and as such we empower disadvantaged youth as activists who increase access to healthy foods in their schools and communities through advocacy and service learning projects. Youth L.E.A.D. is seeking a Food Justice Assistant. This is an exciting opportunity to help get a young nonprofit off the ground; it requires a great deal of commitment, dedication, and passion. This is a part-time position requiring 10-25 hours per week for at least 1 year. This is a great opportunity for someone who is independent, self-motivated and seeks to gain a highly diverse skill set as well as an understanding of the Miami nonprofit world.
