Kiva.org plans to bring micro-loans to the US

Non-profit Kiva.org plans to launch system of small loans in the U.S.

Isaac often uses the Micro Loans of the Grameen Bank and Mohammed Yunus as an example of the "S" and "E" in SPEC. Kiva.org has brought this approach to the web and to date nearly 500,000 users have lent almost $65 million, interest-free, to developing-world entrepreneurs with only a 2% default rate. Now Kiva plans to bring this approach to the US. Wonder how it will play here?
